Scheduling a free consultation is easy. We will spend about 30 minutes getting to know you and your business.

Letter of Engagement

We will provide you with a Letter of Engagement that outlines the framework of our business relationship, serving as the foundation of our contract. Each year, you’ll receive an updated letter to ensure our services continue to meet your needs. The agreement will be signed by both parties, with copies for your records. Any changes to the terms will be made only with mutual consent.

Common Questions

How do you bill for your services?

We bill a monthly flat fee for our clients as opposed to an hourly rate.  Our fees are typically set up to recur on a monthly basis. All standard forms of payment are accepted including checks and credit cards. Typically, we keep a credit card on file to be charged when services are rendered.  

If I have a question, when can I expect to hear back from YOU?

You can expect a response within 24 hours Monday through Friday before 4pm. We often check our email on weekends and after hours but we can’t guarantee a response during these times. 

We would be happy to make special arrangements for evening or weekend consultations with advanced noticed.

What can you expect for Return times?

It’s often misunderstood in the accounting industry that “month-end” financials are ready by the last day of the month. To properly reconcile and review a month of information, bookkeepers and accountants generally need a week or two depending on the amount of work and the rest of their client load. Setting this expectation from the beginning is important (for both parties).

What documents will be needed to complete my bookkeeping?

To provide the most accurate service, we typically need the following: all bank and credit card statements, loan statements and/or amortization schedules, check stubs, deposit details, payroll information / reports, merchant statements, and any other documents we may request.

Do I need both a bookkeeper and a CPA?

Yes!  CPAs will typically pick up where our services begin to taper off.  The financials we prepare are exactly what your CPA needs to effectively complete their tasks.  A CPA can prepare your tax return, franchise return and provide tax planning as we do not provide any type of tax services outside of payroll and sales tax.  We pride ourselves on working seamlessly with your CPA of choice!
